COL BKB: Florida 79, Yale 58

NEW HAVEN, Conn., Jan. 6 (UPI) -- Kenny Boynton pumped in 28 points Sunday, including 8-of-10 from 3-point range, for ninth-ranked Florida, which cruised to a 79-58 non-conference win over Yale.

Will Yeguete added 14 points and nine rebounds for the Gators (10-2), who shot a sizzling 60 percent from the field en route to their second straight win.

Florida also got 13 points, three rebounds and three steals from Mike Rosario.

Yale (5-11) was paced by Justin Sears with 15 points and four steals.

Javier Duren (14 points) and Armani Cotton (12) also reached double figures for the Bulldogs.
