PITTSBURGH, Dec. 31 (UPI) -- Cashmere Wright led a balanced attack with 18 points for No. 15 Cincinnati in the Bearcats' 70-61 road win over the No. 22 Pittsburgh Panthers.

Wright was backed by Sean Kilpatrick, who added 16 and JaQuon Parker 13 for the Bearcats, who also got points from five other players. Cincinnati, which sustained it first loss of the season last week against New Mexico, improved to 13-1.

Pittsburgh (12-2) led 43-41 with about 13 minutes to play, but Parker pulled the Bearcats even with a jumper. After a long drought for both teams, Titus Rubels made a 3-point play and Kilpatrick added two free throws for a 48-43 Cincinnati lead.

Talib Zanna had two free throws for Pitt, but Wright hit from 3-point range and David Nyarsuk made consecutive shots for a 55-45 bulge with 7:20 to go.

Pittsburgh got as close as four points before Cincinnati put the game away with a series of free throws.

Zanna had 16 points in leading the Panthers, who also got 13 points from Lamar Patterson and 10 from Cameron Wright.
