ALBUQUERQUE, Dec. 22 (UPI) --
Nate Wolters went 9-of-15 from the field en route to 28 points Saturday and South Dakota State upended No. 17 New Mexico 70-65.
Wolters also dished off seven assists and Jordan Dykstra added 10 points and 10 rebounds for the Jackrabbits (10-4), who limited the Lobos to 37 percent shooting from the floor.
Chad White added 13 points for South Dakota State.
Kendall Marshall netted 21 points and Tony Snell added 13 for New Mexico (12-1), which had a 14-game winning streak against non-conference opponents snapped.
