COL BKB: Louisville 79, Florida Int'l 55

LOUISVILLE, Ky., Dec. 19 (UPI) -- Wayne Blackshear delivered 18 points Wednesday in No. 4 Louisville's 79-55 win over Florida International, a game that involved a father-son coaching duel.

Louisville coach Rick Pitino met his son, Richard, who guided Golden Panthers.

The Cardinals steadily built their lead to 14 points through one half with Blackshear contributing four 3-pointers.

Peyton Siva added 15 points and 12 assists. Chane Behanan delivered 14 points and 11 rebounds for the Cardinals (10-1). Louisville won its fifth straight.

Tymell Murphy and Malik Smith both scored 12 points for Florida International with Murphy also pulling down 12 rebounds.
