OMAHA, Dec. 19 (UPI) -- Avery Dingman hit five of his six attempts from 3-point range and scored 21 points Wednesday, pacing No. 13 Creighton to a 71-54 win over Tulsa.

The Bluejays improved to 11-1 and have won five in a row since a Nov. 28 defeat at the hands of Boise State.

Dingman came off the bench to turn in his big 3-point shooting performance as part of a 51-percent team effort from the field.

Doug McDermott added 16 points and Gregory Echenique had 15 for the Bluejays.

Tulsa (6-5) got 15 points and 10 rebounds from James Woodard.
