COL BKB: Michigan State 92, Tuskegee 56

EAST LANSING, Mich., Dec. 16 (UPI) -- Keith Appling poured in 25 points Saturday and No. 19 Michigan State logged a 92-56 win over Tuskegee in the Spartans' return to Jenison Fieldhouse.

Appling went 7-of-9 from the field for Michigan State (9-2), which played its first game at its longtime former facility since 1989, when the team moved to the Breslin Center.

Adreian Payne (12 points, 10 rebounds) and Derrick Nix (11, 13) each provided a double-double as the Spartans logged a fourth straight victory.

Tuskegee (1-5) was paced by Calvin Thomas with 14 points.
