COL BKB: Kansas 90, Colorado 54

LAWRENCE, Kan., Dec. 8 (UPI) -- Ben McLemore and Kevin Young combined for 40 points Saturday and No. 9 Kansas cruised to a bruising 90-54 victory over Colorado.

McLemore scored 24 points -- including 10-of-11 from the free-throw line -- and Young had 16 points and eight rebounds for the Jayhawks (7-1), who have won six straight games.

Elijah Johnson scored 11 points for Kansas and Travis Releford scored 10.

Josh Scott and Askia Booker teamed for 34 points for Colorado (7-2).
