COL BKB: UNLV 68, Portland 60

PORTLAND, Ore., Dec. 5 (UPI) -- Anthony Bennett led 18th-ranked UNLV with 18 points in their 68-60 road win over Portland Tuesday.

Bennett, who also had six rebounds, went 6-of-11 from the field to lead UNLV (6-1) to its fourth consecutive win.

Anthony Marshall added 16 points to the Runnin' Rebels tally and Justin Hawkins came off the bench to score 15.

Ryan Nichols led the Pilots (3-5) with a dominating double-double of 15 points, 19 rebounds and six assists. Korey Thieleke added 12 points in Portland's third loss in its last four games.

Portland kept the game close but was unable to score in the final 3:59 and allowed the Rebels to pull away with a 5-0 run.
