COL BKB: Missouri 72, Appalachian St. 56

COLUMBIA, Mo., Dec. 1 (UPI) -- Laurence Bowers led a parade of four Tigers players in double figures Saturday and No. 15 Missouri posted a comfortable 72-56 win over Appalachian State.

Bowers netted 23 points to go with five rebounds and Earnest Ross chipped in with 13 and nine as the Tigers (6-1) notched their second straight victory.

Keion Bell helped out with 12 points, six rebounds, four assists and three steals while Tony Criswell also got into double figures with 10 points for Missouri.

The Mountaineers (1-6) got a game-high 29 points and six rebounds from Jay Canty in their sixth straight defeat.
