COL BKB: Michigan 79, N.C. State 72

ANN ARBOR, Mich., Nov. 27 (UPI) -- Nik Stauskas and Trey Burke combined for 38 points Tuesday and third-ranked Michigan got past No. 18 North Carolina State 79-72.

Stauskas provided 20 points and Burke chipped in with 18 and 11 assists for the Wolverines (6-0), whose win came as part of the ACC/Big Ten Challenge series.

Tim Hardaway Jr. (16 points) and Glenn Robinson III (11 with seven rebounds) also reached double figures for Michigan.

The Wolfpack (4-2) were paced by T.J. Warren with 18 points.

C.J. Leslie chipped in with 16 points and 10 boards for North Carolina State, which fell for the second time in three contests.
