SYRACUSE, N.Y., Nov. 25 (UPI) -- James Southerland netted 18 points and Brandon Triche added 15 Sunday, powering sixth-ranked Syracuse to an 87-51 rout of Colgate.

Michael Carter-Williams distributed a career-high 13 assists as the Orange (4-0) recorded their 47th straight win over their traditional intrastate opponents.

The victory in the 165th meeting between the two programs was also the 25th consecutive at home overall for Syracuse -- a school record.

Colgate (3-4) got eight points each from John Brandenburg, Murphy Burnatowski and Pat Moore in the loss.
