LOUISVILLE, Ky., Nov. 18 (UPI) -- Russ Smith struck for 23 points Sunday, carrying second-ranked Louisville to an easy 80-39 non-conference win over Miami-Ohio.

Also reaching double figures for the Cardinals (3-0) were Wayne Blackshear with 14 points and Gorgui Dieng, who added 11 points to go with nine rebounds.

The RedHawks (1-2) were paced by Geovonie McKnight and Bill Edwards with seven points each.
