UNCASVILLE, Conn., Nov. 17 (UPI) -- Deshaun Thomas logged a double-double of 25 points and 13 rebounds Saturday in fourth-ranked Ohio State's 69-58 victory over Rhode Island in Connecticut.

Lenzelle Smith Jr. contributed 15 points and Aaron Craft also reached double figures with 13 and six assists as the Buckeyes (2-0) moved on to the Naismith Bracket championship game in the Hall of Fame Tip-Off Classic.

Rhode Island (0-3) kept it close until the latter stages of the contest, when Ohio State went on a run to extend its 3-point lead.

Xavier Munford led the Rams with 16 points.
