Dad who drowned sons gets death penalty
SAN DIEGO, Nov. 14 (UPI) -- Jamaal Franklin scored 28 points and nabbed a dozen rebounds in No. 23 San Diego State's 91-57 rout of San Diego Christian Tuesday.
Franklin was 10-of-15 from the field and Chase Tapley was 6-of-12 for 18 points for the Aztecs (1-1) who played their entire roster.
San Diego State out-rebounded the Hawks (0-2) 42-12 and led 49-24 at halftime but shot 4-of-19 from 3-point range for the game.
Kevin Dawson led San Diego Christian with 15 points and six rebounds. Kwaminique Brandon added 14 points.
