ALBUQUERQUE, March 17 (UPI) -- Brady Heslip drained nine 3-pointers for Baylor Saturday, lifting the Bears to an 80-63 NCAA Tournament victory over Colorado.

Heslip finished with a career-high 27 points and Pierre Jackson added 15 and 10 assists as the third-seeded Bears (29-7) reached the Sweet 16 for the first time in their history.

They now advance to the South Regional semifinals in Atlanta where they will face the winner of Sunday's Xavier-Lehigh game.

The 11th-seeded Buffaloes (24-12), who upset upset UNLV in their last outing, got 15 points from Askia Booker and 14 from Austin Dufault.
