COL BKB: Kentucky 84, Vanderbilt 74

LEXINGTON, Ky., Feb. 25 (UPI) -- Anthony Davis' double-double plus six blocked shots Saturday help lead top-ranked Kentucky to the SEC championship with an 84-74 win over Vanderbilt.

Davis scored 28 points and had 11 rebounds in the contest, which ended with Kentucky (28-1, 14-0 SEC) remaining unbeaten in conference play and winning its 20th in a row.

Marquis Teague added 16 points for Kentucky and Terrence Jones had 12 points.

Jeffrey Taylor led Vanderbilt (20-9, 9-5) with 19 points and nine rebounds. John Jenkins added 18 points.

The Commodores, who had their three-game winning streak snapped, led 37-36 at halftime but shot a modest 15-of-23 from the free-throw line over the course of the game.
