CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va., Feb. 18 (UPI) -- Mike Scott poured in 25 points and hauled down seven rebounds for No. 22 Virginia Saturday, keying the Cavaliers' 71-44 pounding of Maryland.

Scott went 10-of-20 from the field and Malcolm Brogdon finished with 14 points on 5-of-6 from the floor for Virginia (20-6, 7-5 ACC), which used a big second half to win going away.

The Terrapins (15-11, 6-6) lost despite 14 points from Terrell Stoglin and 13 more from Nick Faust.
