COL BKB: San Francisco 66, Gonzaga 65

SAN FRANCISCO, Feb. 18 (UPI) -- Rashas Green netted 16 points and keyed a ballhawking defense with five steals Saturday, propelling San Francisco to a 66-65 upset of No. 24 Gonzaga.

The Dons (18-11, 8-7 WCC) knocked off defending WCC champion Gonzaga for the third consecutive year with the help of Perris Blackwell, who notched a double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds.

Michael Williams added 13 points and Angelo Caloiaro chipped in with 10 for the victors.

Gonzaga (21-5, 11-3) couldn't keep its four-game winning streak going despite a game-high 21 points and 11 rebounds from Elias Harris.

Gary Bell Jr. contributed 16 points in the loss.
