COL BKB: North Carolina 70, Virginia 52

CHAPEL HILL, N.C., Feb. 11 (UPI) -- Tyler Zeller struck for 25 points Saturday and fifth-ranked North Carolina got back on the winning track with a 70-52 victory over No. 20 Virginia.

Zeller also pulled down nine rebounds for the Tar Heels (21-4, 8-2 ACC), who put the game away in the second half and bounced back from a tough, last-second home loss to Duke Wednesday.

Harrison Barnes and John Henson each contributed double-doubles, combining for 24 and 21 rebounds in the win.

The Tar Heels went on a 12-2 run in the second half run to ice the contest, during which Reggie Bullock scored all five of his points.

Virginia (19-5, 6-4) got 18 points from Mike Scott while Jontel Evans added 12, only two of which came in the second half.
