MCLEAN, Va., Feb. 6 (UPI) -- Florida and Murray State made strong moves in the USA Today/ESPN coaches' basketball poll, which still has Kentucky as a unanimous No. 1.

Kentucky (23-1) pulled in all 31 first-place votes for the third consecutive week while Syracuse (23-1) is near to a unanimous choice for No. 2 and Ohio State (20-3) is a solid third in the polling.

Missouri (21-2) remains fourth and North Carolina (20-3) is up from a tie for sixth to No. 5, leaving Baylor (21-2) alone in sixth this week ahead of games with Kansas and Missouri.

Murray State (23-0) is the nation's lone undefeated major college men's team and has been inching up the poll, moving into a tie this week with Florida (19-4) for seventh. The Gators put their seven-game winning streak on the line Tuesday against Kentucky.

Duke (19-4) slides from fifth to ninth and Kansas (18-5) drops from eighth to No. 10 after both had tough losses last weekend. Wednesday is big for both teams as the Blue Devils make the short journey to North Carolina and the Jayhawks are at Baylor.

Georgetown (18-4) takes over the No. 11 spot ahead of 12th-ranked Michigan State (18-5) and No. 13 St. Mary's (Calif.) (22-2). San Diego State (20-3) is 14th and Creighton (21-3) settles at 15.

Nevada-Las Vegas (21-4) is down three places to 16th but Florida State (16-6) was the week's big gainer, going from 24th to No. 17. Mississippi State (18-5) moves to 18th and Marquette (19-5) comes in at 19 and Virginia (18-4) is No. 20.

Harvard (18-6) goes from 23rd to 21st and Wisconsin (18-6) is 22nd. Indiana (18-6) and Louisville (18-5) are tied for 23rd and Michigan (17-7) is at No. 25.

North Carolina, in addition to taking on Duke, goes against Virginia on Saturday. On Wednesday Georgetown is at Syracuse while, also Saturday, Michigan State plays at Ohio State and San Diego State visits Nevada-Las Vegas.
