COL BKB: Louisville 60, Seton Hall 51

NEWARK, N.J., Jan. 28 (UPI) -- Russ Smith came off the bench to score 14 points Saturday, sparking co-No. 25 Louisville to a 60-51 victory over Seton Hall.

Smith iced the win with two free throws with 52 seconds left, giving Louisville a 57-51 lead, and Seton Hall's Jordan Theodore missed two tough shots in the paint down the stretch.

Gorgui Dieng added 11 points and 14 rebounds, while Chris Smith also contributed 11 points for the Cardinals (17-5, 5-4 Big East).

Theodore led the Pirates (15-6, 4-5) with 18 points. Herb Pope added 12 and 12 rebounds as Seton Hall could manage only 27.6 percent shooting from the field.
