COL BKB: Kentucky 86, Arkansas 63

LEXINGTON, Ky., Jan. 17 (UPI) -- Anthony Davis had a career-high 27 points Tuesday and second-ranked Kentucky cruised past Arkansas 86-63.

Davis blocked seven shots, setting a single-season Kentucky record with 87 blocks in his freshman season.

Doron Lamb scored 14 for the Wildcats (18-1, 4-0 SEC) and Terrence Jones had 13 in the win, which extended Kentucky's home winning streak too 46 games.

Mardracus Wade and Marvell Waithe tallied 12 points apiece for the Razorbacks (13-5, 2-2).

Kentucky won the rebounding battle 38-23 and shot 57.1 percent from the field to Arkansas' 40.4 percent.

Kentucky led 37-21 at halftime and then put together a 9-point surge that included two big dunks by Davis early in the second half to extend the lead to 70-42.
