NEW YORK, Jan. 15 (UPI) -- Hollis Thompson sparked a second-half surge with 20 points Sunday and No. 11 Georgetown rolled to a 69-49 win over St. John's at Madison Square Garden.
Jason Clark added 15 points, eight rebounds and eight assists for the Hoyas (14-3, 4-2 Big East), who iced the win by finishing with a 21-4 run.
Georgetown broke a two-game losing streak with the help of Otto Porter, who contributed 13 points and 10 rebounds.
St. John's (8-9, 2-4) got 21 points and 10 rebounds from Moe Harkless but couldn't prevent its fourth loss in five contests.
