MURRAY, Ky., Jan. 14 (UPI) -- Donte Poole struck for 28 points and Isaiah Canaan added 24 Saturday, propelling unbeaten, 14th-ranked Murray State to an 82-74 win over Tennessee Tech.

Jewuan Long added 11 points for the Racers (18-0, 6-0 OVC), who remained one of only three undefeated teams left in Division I college basketball along with No. 1 Syracuse and No. 4 Baylor.

Murray State extended its school record for best start to a season and broke its mark for longest winning streak with the triumph.

The Golden Eagles (11-7, 3-2) saw their own three-game winning streak snapped despite 19 points piece from Kevin Murphy and Jud Dillard.
