GAINESVILLE, Fla., Jan. 10 (UPI) -- Bradley Beal drained four long-range shots en route to 17 points for No. 19 Florida Tuesday and the Gators routed Georgia 70-48.

The freshman guard bounced back from a poor showing in Florida's SEC opener against Tennessee Saturday, which the Gators lost -- grabbing 10 rebounds and committing only one turnover.

Beal collected three of his 3-pointers during a 15-2 Gators run midway through the first half that gave Florida control of the contest.

Kenny Boynton contributed 17 points to help Florida (13-4, 1-1 SEC) take its third win in four games.

Nemanja Djurisic led the Bulldogs (9-7, 0-2) with 14 points.
