Canada body-parts murder victim identified

MORGANTOWN, W.Va., Jan. 7 (UPI) -- West Virginia cooled off red-hot Georgetown Saturday with a 74-62 victory over the ninth-ranked Hoyas.
The loss ended an 11-game winning streak for Georgetown (13-2, 3-1 Big East), who shot 40.4 percent from the field and was only 2-of-14 from 3-point range.
Truck Bryant scored 25 points and Kevin Jones had 22 points and 16 rebounds for the Mountaineers (12-4, 3-1).
Hollis Thompson led Georgetown with 20 points and Henry Sims and Jason Clark tallied 10 apiece.
The Mountaineers led 29-27 at halftime and iced the game with eight consecutive free throws in the final minute of regulation.
