NASHVILLE, Dec. 17 (UPI) -- R.J. Mahurin scored 14 points, and Jake Odum added eight rebounds and seven assists Saturday in Indiana State's 61-55 win over No. 25 Vanderbilt.
Odom also scored 10 points, while Carl Richard and Jordan Printy each contributed 11 and five boards for the Sycamores (8-2).
Richard's lay-in with 1:07 left gave Indiana State a four-point lead with 1:07 left.
After Jeffrey Taylor's bucket with 53 seconds to go cut Vanderbilt's deficit to two, Odom iced the Sycamores' win on a jumper 32 seconds later.
Taylor led Vanderbilt (6-4) with 21 points, but couldn't prevent the Commodores' third loss in four games.
