COL BKB: North Carolina 97, Evansville 48

CHAPEL HILL, N.C., Dec. 6 (UPI) -- Harrison Barnes put in 17 points and two other Tar Heels notched double-doubles Monday in No. 6 North Carolina's 97-48 bashing of Evansville.

John Henson scored 13 points and grabbed 12 rebounds while Tyler Zeller added 12 points and 10 boards for the Tar Heels (7-2), who bounced back after Saturday's close loss to top-ranked Kentucky.

North Carolina outrebounded the Aces 62-30 and limited them to just 26 percent shooting from the field.

Evansville (3-4) was led by Denver Holmes with 14 points while leading scorer Colt Ryan was held to nine.
