COL BKB: Missouri 90, Northwestern St. 56

COLUMBIA, Mo., Dec. 2 (UPI) -- Marcus Denmon poured in a season-best 31 points Friday in leading No. 13 Missouri to a 90-56 blasting of Northwestern (La.) State.

The Tigers raced to a 29-8 lead during the first 7:30 and easily stayed unbeaten in eight games this season. Denmon hit 11-of-18 shots from the field and Missouri made 55 percent of its attempts overall.

Ricardo Ratliffe added 22 points for Missouri and Michael Dixon came off the bench to score 19. Missouri led by as many as 42 points with 7:45 remaining.

The Demons (4-4) got 14 points from James Hulbin.
