LOUISVILLE, Ky., Nov. 28 (UPI) -- Chris Smith canned four long-range shots en route to 18 points Monday, propelling sixth-ranked Louisville to a 79-66 win over Long Beach State.

Chane Behanan added 13 points and grabbed seven rebounds while Russ Smith and Peyton Siva each chipped in with 11 for the Cardinals (6-0).

Louisville forced 21 turnovers and sped out to a 44-32 halftime lead before cruising home for the victory.

Larry Anderson led the 49ers (3-3) with 17 points while Casper Ware added 13 points and eight assists.
