Canada body-parts murder victim identified

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J., Nov. 19 (UPI) -- John Jenkins sealed a victory with a late 3-pointer Saturday, boosting 20th-ranked Vanderbilt to an 86-79 win over North Carolina State.
The key basket was part of a 28-point performance for Jenkins and helped the Commodores (3-1) to a victory at the Ticketcity Legends Classic in New Jersey.
Jeffrey Taylor contributed 17 points and put Vanderbilt ahead for good with a tip-in shot with just over 2 minutes to play.
The win put the Commodores into Monday's Legends Classic final.
The Wolfpack (3-1), meanwhile, lost for the first time under Coach Mark Gottfried.
Richard Howell led N.C. State with 16 points and nine rebounds.
