NASHVILLE, Nov. 15 (UPI) -- Jeffrey Taylor scored 14 points and four of his Vanderbilt teammates hit double figures Tuesday in the 20th-ranked Commodores' 80-68 win over Bucknell.
Vanderbilt (2-1) shot 45.6 percent from the field in its comeback from Sunday's home loss to Cleveland State.
The Commodores fired a hefty 30 shots from 3-point range, but made only 10.
Joe Willman scored 17 points to lead Bucknell (0-2). The Bison were outrebounded 36-27.
Bucknell played Vandy even in the first half and trailed 27-26 at the break.
The Commodores took over in the second half with a 12-2 run in the early going. Brad Tinsley sank a pair of 3-pointers and Kedren Johnson added another in the stretch, which padded Vandy's lead to 58-40 midway through the half.
