COL BKB: Connecticut 78, Wagner 66

STORRS, Conn., Nov. 14 (UPI) -- Shabazz Napier and Jeremy Lamb combined for 41 points Monday, powering fourth-ranked Connecticut to a 78-66 victory over Wagner.

Napier pumped in 21 points on 6-of-9 shooting and Lamb chipped in 20 points off the bench for the Huskies (2-0), who led 41-28 at halftime and cruised to the win.


Alex Oriakhi added eight points and grabbed nine boards as Connecticut outrebounded their opponents 38-20.

Wagner (1-1) got 11 points from Latif Rivers.
