NEW YORK, Oct. 9 (UPI) -- Tiger Woods was dethroned by LeBron James on Forbes' list of the World's Most Valuable Sports Brand.

Woods ended his seven-year reign atop the list with a $10 million drop in endorsements in 2014 from 2013. Woods brought in $36 million in endorsements this year.

The Cleveland Cavs forward made a bit more than Woods with $37 million in endorsements in 2014.

Woods' slump is likely due to the end of his partnerships with EA Sports, Gillette and Gatorade, as well as his recent spate of injuries that led to him missing PGA Tour competition.
