SOCHI, Russia, Feb. 18 (UPI) -- British skier Rowan Cheshire tweeted a selfie of her battered face after suffering a hard fall during a training run on the halfpipe.
Cheshire, 18, took a nasty fall on the halfpipe during a training run Sunday and was knocked unconscious. The official Twitter account of British Ski & Snowboard later announced that she suffered a concussion and would be staying in the hospital overnight.
On Monday, Cheshire tweeted a photo of her bloody face saying she didn't remember much but was appreciative of all the messages of support.
