SOCHI, Russia, Feb. 12 (UPI) -- Kaitlyn Farrington won the gold medal in women's half-pipe snowboarding at the Sochi Games, giving the U.S its third gold, all of which have come from snowboarding.
Australian Torah Bright won silver, giving Australia its first medal of 2014, followed by Kelly Clark from the U.S., who won bronze. Farrington scored a 91.75, just 0.25 ahead of Bright who had a score of 91.50.
