Nov. 23 (UPI) --Juventus won 2-0 on Saturday to go top of Serie A, overtaking high flying Roma.

Juventus beat Livorno, now in 16th place, after goals from new signings Fernando Llorente and Carlos Tevez.

The win puts Juve top after 13 games, but Roma has played one less and is yet to be defeated in the league. Juventus has 11 wins, 1 draw and 1 loss this season and looks a strong title contender.

Title rivals Napoli lost 0-1 to Parma on Sunday, a big setback for the third placed team considering how close the league is this year. Roma will now play Cagliari and a win will put them back on top of the league.
