Man United draws with Real Sociedad

Robin Van Persie hit the post twice in the scoreless draw.

(UPI) -- Manchester United and Real Sociedad played to a scoreless draw in the UEFA Champions League Group A match Tuesday.

Dutchman Robin Van Persie missed a penalty in the match.

Manchester United, current champions of England, are top of Group A with eight points after four matches. Bayer Leverkusen are second with seven and Shakhtar Donetsk have five. Leverkusen and Shakhtar drew 0-0 last night as well. Real Sociedad are in their first Champions League and have only the one point.
