Concerns over Messi before Milan clash

Messi hasn't scored in four matches
By Justin Salhani   |   Nov. 6, 2013 at 3:35 AM   |   Comments

(UPI) -- Spanish league champions Barcelona gear up to face Italian side AC Milan Wednesday in the UEFA Champions League. Milan has been struggling this year in the league and currently sit in 11th place in Serie A.

While Barcelona enter the match as clear favorites there remain worries over their star player, Argentine Lionel Messi.

After recently returning from an injury, Messi has gone four matches without scoring a goal. Goal droughts are uncommon for the three time World Player of the Year.

A win tonight against Milan would send Barcelona into the knock out stages of the competition.
