New York Knicks player Amar'e Stoudemire wed the mother of his four children, Alexis Welch, on Saturday.

The event came after the couple became legally married in their New York City apartment in December 2012. The two had not yet celebrated their marriage with friends and family, however, and they decided to hold the celebration in Miami.

"This is fairy tale amazing down to every last detail," an Us source said. The reception was held at the Vizcaya Museum and Gardens. The couple's guests stayed nearby at the Fontainebleau hotel.

Guests included many fellow Knicks, including Carmelo Anthony and Tyson Chandler. The couple's children were included in the wedding party.

The couple met in 2002 while Stoudemire was playing with the Phoenix Suns. The two got engaged in June 2012 during a trip to Paris.
