Florida linebacker Antonio Morrison was arrested Sunday after he allegedly punched a bouncer over a cover charge at a Gainesville, Fla. bar.

Morrison, 19, reportedly walked to Kava Lounge, located at 1007 W. University Avenue in Gainesville, to ask the bouncer about the entrance fee. After he learned how much the cover charge was, Morrison allegedly argued with the bouncer claiming he didn't want to pay full price.

“Do you know who I am? I am a UF football player. I am Antonio.” Morrison said, according an email from Gainesville Police Department spokesman Officer Ben Tobias.

After the bouncer told Morrison he had to pay full price the linebacker reportedly punched him in the head and left the scene.

The 19-year-old player was arrested at about 6 a.m. Sunday on a charge of battery. A bond for his release had not been set as of Sunday afternoon.
