Rob Dyrdek has emotional tweeting spree remembering 'Big Black'

May 10 (UPI) -- Professional skateboarder and TV star Rob Dyrdek tweeted with a heavy heart Tuesday, following the death of his friend.

Christopher 'Big Black' Boykin died Tuesday of a heart attack. He was 45-years-old. The duo starred in MTV's Rob & Big. Boykin also made cameos on Rob Dyrdeck's Fantasy Factory, Ridiculousness, Guy Code and Snack Off.

Rob & Big debuted in 2006. The show lasted for three seasons on the network. Fantasy Factory ended in 2015, after seven seasons.

Dyrdek's shows also featured Chanel West Coast, Chris "Drama" Pfaff, Scott "Big Kat" Pfaff and Sterling "Steelo" Brim.

"My heart is broken," Dyrdek tweeted at 10:11 p.m. Tuesday. "I don't want write this post. I don't want to believe that this is reality. I am so thankful for you."

"We truly were brothers that lived an unexpected unforgettable adventure. I just can't fathom that it would end so suddenly. You will forever be in my heart."

Dyrdek also tweeted out several photos of his old friend and a broken heart emoji.

"I am so thankful for this moment... thank you for being an amazing human being and brother," Dyrdek wrote as the caption for a photo of Boykin holding his son Kodah Dash Dyrdek.

Dyrdek and wife Bryiana Noelle Flores welcomed their first child on Sept. 9. The couple married in 2015.

Before Tuesday's news, Dyrdek hadn't tweeted since April 29.
