For the second consecutive week, Miami Dolphins running back Jay Ajayi has been named AFC Offensive Player of the Week for his back-to-back 200-yard rushing performance.

Ajayi ran for 214 yards and a touchdown in the 28-25 victory against the Buffalo Bills on Sunday, making him the fourth player in NFL history to rush for more than 200 yards in two straight games.

Ajayi, who was honored last week after his 204-yard rushing day against the Pittsburgh Steelers, becomes the first Dolphins player to win an award in consecutive weeks since the NFL began honoring the best offensive and defensive players in 1984.

The NFL also announced Wednesday that Green Bay Packers wide receiver Davante Adams was named the NFC's Offensive Player of the Week for Week 7.

In last Thursday night's 26-10 win over the Chicago Bears at Lambeau Field, Adams caught 13 passes for 132 yards and two touchdowns. Those were career highs.

San Diego Chargers linebacker Denzel Perryman took the AFC defensive honor. Perryman had seven tackles and an interception in helping the Chargers beat the Atlanta Falcons 33-30.

Oakland Raiders punter Marquette King earned the AFC special teams award. King punted five times, averaging 50.6 yards per punt, as the Raiders defeated the Jacksonville Jaguars 33-16. Four of the punts pinned the Jaguars inside their own 20-yard-line.

Philadelphia kick returner Josh Huff was named the NFC Special Teams Player of the Week after he scored on a 98-yard kickoff return to help the Eagles hand the Minnesota Vikings their first loss, 21-10, on Sunday.
