Baltimore Ravens veteran outside linebacker Terrell Suggs returned to the practice field on Tuesday, nine days removed from tearing his left biceps.

When asked why he is attempting to play through the injury, Suggs had some questions of his own for reporters.

"Man, who am I? What team do I play for?," the 34-year-old Suggs asked, according to ESPN. "I come from an era where this is just a bump in the road. It may be season-ending for somebody else. It's not season-ending for a Raven."

Suggs knows the injury all too well, as he missed only one game with a torn left biceps in 2012. He did not wear a brace upon his return from that injury, but plans to do so when Baltimore (3-4) comes back from its bye week to face the AFC North-rival Pittsburgh Steelers (4-3) on Nov. 6.

"I was young and dumb, wanted to be the Hulk," Suggs said. "But I'm damn sure going to wear one now."

Suggs was hurt in the fourth quarter of the Ravens' 27-23 loss to the New York Giants while sacking quarterback Eli Manning on Oct. 16.

Suggs leads the Ravens with five sacks this season and has recorded 19 tackles.
