The Detroit Pistons released guards Lorenzo Brown and Trey Freeman and center Mamadou N'Diaye on Saturday, cutting their roster to 15.

Brown is the only one of the three with NBA regular season experience and appeared in 63 games -- seven starts -- while averaging 3.3 points for the Philadelphia 76ers, Minnesota Timberwolves and Phoenix Suns over the last three seasons.

Freeman, 24, was trying to make his first NBA roster after a solid career at Old Dominion.

N'Diaye, a 7-foot-6 center who owns the career record for blocked shots in the Big West Conference after a three-year career at UC Irvine, was signed by the Pistons on Saturday morning only to be cut in the afternoon.

The Senegal native went undrafted after leading school early in the spring and was on the Golden State Warriors Summer League team.
