Baltimore Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco returned to practice on Friday but is still listed as questionable on the team's lengthy injury report.

Flacco, who is dealing with an injured right shoulder, threw short and intermediate passes during the media portion of practice but coach John Harbaugh stopped short of naming him the starter for Sunday's game at the New York Jets.

"We'll see how he responds (Saturday)," said Harbaugh, who called the performance at practice "encouraging."

Flacco or backup Ryan Mallet could be without a key target in wide receiver Steve Smith Sr., who is doubtful with an ankle injury.

The Ravens will be without linebackers Elvis Dumervil (foot) and C.J. Mosley (thigh) for the second straight week while linebacker Terrell Suggs (biceps), safety Kendrick Lewis (thigh), cornerback Shareece Wright (thigh) and G Marshal Yanda (shoulder) are all listed as doubtful.

Wide receiver Kamar Aiken (thigh), wide receiver/returner Devin Hester (thigh), cornerback Jerraud Powers (thigh), cornerback Jimmy Smith (concussion) and tackle Ronnie Stanley all joined Flacco as questionable on Baltimore's injury report.
