Pittsburgh Steelers' Ben Roethlisberger, Atlanta Falcons' Julio Jones highlight weekly awards

Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger and Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones put up impressive numbers to earn Offensive Player of the Week in their respective conferences.

Roethlisberger completed 22 of 27 passes for 300 yards and five touchdowns for a quarterback rating of 152.5 in the 43-14 win over the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday night. He threw four touchdown passes in the first half.

Jones set a franchise record with 300 receiving yards on 12 receptions in Atlanta's 48-33 win over the Carolina Panthers. Jones' Week 4 performance vaulted him into the NFL lead with 488 receiving yards this season.

Jones likely edged out his quarterback, Matt Ryan, who threw for a franchise-record 503 yards after completeding 28 of 37 passes for four touchdowns. Ryan, who was named the NFC Offensive Player of the Month for September, and Jones are the first pair of teammates in NFL history to have 300 receiving yards and 500 passing yards in the same game.

Buffalo Bills linebacker Zach Brown was named AFC Defensive Player of the Week with 18 tackles, one sack and two forced fumbles in the 16-0 shutout of the New England Patriots.

Los Angeles Rams defensive tackle Aaron Donald earned the NFC defensive honor with 1.5 sacks, five tackles and a forced a fumble in the 17-3 win over the Arizona Cardinals.

Will Fuller of the Houston Texans was named AFC Special Teams Player of the Week after his deciding 67-yard punt return for a touchdown in the 27-20 victory over the Tennessee Titans. The rookie wide receiver also had seven catches for 81 yards and a touchdown.

Seattle Seahawks punter Jon Ryan took the NFC special teams award, punting five times in the 27-17 victory over the New York Jets. Four of his punts pinned the Jets inside their own 15-yard line.
