EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- New York Giants center Weston Richburg was ejected Sunday after his second unsportsmanlike conduct penalty in the game.

Richburg was given the automatic ejection, known as the "Odell Beckham rule," Sunday in the fourth quarter with the Giants leading the Washington Redskins 24-23. Richburg is the first player tossed from a game under the rule passed in the offseason, which calls for automatic ejection of any player flagged for two personal foul infractions.

His first unsportsmanlike flag was in the first quarter. Richburg was flagged for jawing at game officials after being called for holding.
