The New England Patriots placed right tackle Sebastian Vollmer and running back Dion Lewis on the reserve/physically unable to perform list on Tuesday.

Vollmer has been out with an injury to his right hip. Various published reports claim Vollmer could possibly miss the entire season.

Lewis recently underwent his second surgery on his left knee. Lewis tore his ACL in November.

Being placed on the PUP list means both players will miss at least the first six weeks of the regular season.

The Patriots also released linebacker Ramon Humber, offensive lineman Keavon Milton and tight end Steven Scheu to reach the 75-man roster limit.
