SAN JOSE, Calif., Aug. 23 (UPI) -- Apparently Oakland Raiders players have a thing for Olympic gymnasts.

That adoration might tumble both ways, after Team USA's Aly Raisman recently agreed to go on a date with tight end Colton Underwood.

Former gold-medalist Shawn Johnson is married to Underwood's teammate Andrew East.

While doing a video segment for Yahoo Sports called "Dating Aly Raisman," Raisman was set up to see a video invitation from Underwood.

"Did Shawn put you up to this," Raisman asked.

"Aly, what's up? It's Colton Underwood, tight end for the Oakland Raiders," he said.

"If you are ever in San Jose, and want to go on a double date with me and Andrew and Shawn, let me know," Underwood said.

"They've actually told me about him before. He's very cute," Raisman said.

Raisman said that Johnson and former Olympic gymnast Nastia Liukin are always vying to find her a boyfriend.

But she said she wouldn't go after actor Zac Efron, who is off-limits for anyone but Simone Biles. Raisman also said that she would let New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski try on her gold medal, but he might be too much of a party animal for her to date.

"Yeah, I'll go on a date with [Underwood]," Raisman said. "Maybe he'll come to the show."

Raisman, 22, won three medals at the Summer Games in Rio de Janeiro.

"Thanks for the sweet video...looking forward to meeting you :)," Raisman tweeted Underwood.

"Anytime! Looking forward to meeting you too. Safe travels back, see you soon," Underwood responded.
